I promised you some time ago a photo of Sky in her shoes we purchased from you. Sky is the little Border collie that had such sore feet because of an auto-immune problem. She is doing well, her     Neo-Paws make lots of trips through the red rocks of Sedona!  Thanks for all your help.

Hi Ronnie,

Just to let you know that the spare shoe arrived this week and fits perfectly!

Have attached a photo of Millie in her summer shoes, they really have
transformed her life, she can walk on any surface now.  Through years of
allergies (she's 10) her pads have become so thin and sensitive, we couldn't
walk her on anything but grass until we found your shoes.

Thanks again,
Vicki Painter

Hi NeoPaws,

--it has now been just over a year and Layla is still improving. On several occasions, she brings the boots to me in her mouth--it is her signal that she is ready to go for a walk. Thank you again for your products--they made all the difference!!

Last February, Layla suffered a spinal cord injury
> (most likely caused by a "missile hit" of disc tissue) that left her
> paralyzed from the waist down. She had no deep pain response--she
> couldn't even wag her tail. I began working with her to get her to
> stand for very short periods of time. As she seemed to progress with
> standing, I began "walking" her by moving her legs, one by one. Our
> vet gave us your bottoms up leash that really allowed me to step up her
> rehab while saving my own back (bending over to walk Layla was really
> hurting me). One afternoon, Layla started pushing off with her hind
> legs--this was after about two months of slow progress--and I felt
> there was some real hope of her walking on her own. I continued with
> the bottoms up leash, allowing Layla to walk more and more.
> As Layla's right leg is weaker, she drags her foot just enough to
> really tear up her toenails on rough surfaces. The dragging
> problem limited me to walking her on grassy surfaces--both Layla and I
> missed our long walks together. I bought a pair of dog boots from
> another supplier and found them to be useless for Layla as they would
> slip right off. After researching the subject, I found your company
> and purchased the Neopaws shoes--Layla liked them from the start.
> Layla can now go on the same length walks (on any surface) that we
> enjoyed prior to her injury. Your boots have given Layla back her
> former life and me back the dog I love.
> Our vet has told us that this type of recovery is quite rare--we are
> very fortunate. While Layla is not 100% as coordinated as before, she
> walks, runs and retrieves with the same level of enthusiasm as she had
> prior to her injury. Most importantly, with her continued workouts,
> Layla continues to show progress after all these months.
> Thank you for your products--they made all the difference in the world.
> Best regards,

Hi Ronnie,

I finally snagged a few images of Shasta in his new shoes.

In image 1 and 2 you can see how he is standing with his back legs apart.   By contrast, when he is not wearing the shoes his hind legs stay very close together and his feet cross over one another when he walks… probably to compensate for painful walking.

His leg and hip muscles have degenerated significantly from lack of mobility.  But with the shoes on, he has enough support and traction to keep his legs apart and straight, so he walks correctly for the first time in a long time, no crossing his feet!

His hips and legs seem to be adapting, he is beginning to walk faster and faster. The last couple days I catch him brisk walking around the house trying to play with our other dogs, it is really amazing! I am SOOO happy about that.

He is a whole new Shasta with the shoes on.

The others pictures are of Shasta laying around our hardwood floors. He hasn’t been able to walk freely in the house because he slips. As long as he has his shoes on, he is able to safely roam the house as he wishes…he is very happy about that!

Thanks again!   Clarissa

Here is a picture taken the next day. Here she has her shoes on. She loves the shoes on her back paws. Unfortunately she won't accept shoes on her front paws. She becomes very upset and starts to pant heavily. Because she has a severe heart problem I can't stress her.

We are very satisfied with the shoes. All our future dogs will wear Neopaws shoes. That's for sure !

Hi Ronnie,
Thanks for the excellent customer service, I didn't mention it on the phone but I was so surprised that you speak French!
Since this is about the only company I buy products from and can communicate directly with the person responsible for developing the product, let me say "Thank you!!!"
My boyfriend and I adopted our dog in October 2010 from our local shelter in Quebec City and we had this preconceived notion that big dogs don't need boots. In the winter I started to notice that my dog would limp by the end of our walks and whimper, most of the time it was because the snow had formed into a big ball in the middle of his paw pads but the massive quanties of salt that were dumped on our appartment building's stairs and the -40°C temperatures didn't help either. I didn't hesitate and went straight to a local pet supply store, Létourno, where the manager recommended these. I kind of hesitated when I saw that they actually had a rubber sole - I was familiar with the other type that are more like mittens. My dog was hilarious when he put them on at first but as soon as he got outside he forgot all about them. From the minute we started taking walks people would stop to ask us about them (Where did you get those? Did it take long for your dog to get used to them? etc.). We took Shadow with us to the Carnaval de Québec in 2011, which always runs from the end of January until mid-February and attracts lots of tourists. I don't recall seeing any other dogs with boots that year. By the end of the day I think I heard "Regarde, le chien a des bottes!" like 100 times. Some people even took pictures of our dog haha! I kept telling people who asked us questions "They're great, get them at Létourno!" I am happy to say that at this year's Carnaval, I saw plenty of dogs with boots. And yes, many were Neopaws :) I watched the episode of Dragon's Den and it was really hard for me to watch, because the people who buy your products know how good they are and how important it is to keep your pets safe and happy (we are NOT playing dress-up). I hope you've had the chance to get more exposure since then; I will definitely keep promoting these boots. I know that Neopaws will be huge some day and you won't have the time to read an email like this one. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the photos I've attached. From our family to yours, thank you :)
